Description
The specimen shows finely papillary fronds themselves aggregated into broad papillae; the cut
surface of one with its thin fibrous core can be seen to one side of the specimen. At the lower
margins at the back can be seen normal intestinal mucosa. The lesion appears to have been excised
with the full thickness of the bowel wall.
